Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the mobile applications ("Apps") and website ("Website") operated by Al-Maqdisi Productions LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Our Services
Al-Maqdisi Productions develops and publishes Islamic mobile applications, including but not limited to Hajj Sense, Salah OnBoard, and Quran Spring. Our Apps provide religious educational content, prayer time calculations, Qibla direction, and related tools.
Use of Our Apps
You agree to use our Apps only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use our Apps in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our Apps
- Copy, modify, or distribute our Apps or their content without permission
- Use our Apps to transmit harmful code or interfere with their operation
Religious Content Disclaimer
Our Apps provide Islamic educational content and tools based on established scholarly sources. While we strive for accuracy and consult scholarly references, the content in our Apps is provided for informational and educational purposes only and should not be considered a substitute for consulting qualified Islamic scholars for specific religious rulings (fatawa).
Prayer time calculations are based on astronomical algorithms and may vary from locally observed times. We recommend verifying prayer times with your local mosque or Islamic center when possible.
Intellectual Property
Our Apps, including all content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, and icons), are owned by Al-Maqdisi Productions LLC and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Our Apps are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that our Apps will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Al-Maqdisi Productions LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of our Apps or Website.
App Store Terms
If you downloaded our Apps through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you also agree to the respective platform's terms of service. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the platform's terms, the platform's terms shall govern to the extent of the conflict.
